- Fear not, Songbird, I do believe there are other firebirds to be found.
- Tradition has it that your first visitor after new year's indicates what
- the coming year will be like--at 7:00 AM, I received my first visitor of
- the year: a medium-sized bird managed to force its way into the heating
- vents of my house and, after a great deal of sound and fury carried
- throughout my domicile by cleverly placed ductwork, it was able to locate
- the furnace and immolate itself within its firey depths.
-
- Now, I don't know quite what this foretells for the upcoming year, but it
- does suggest that there are more firebirds to be found.

- Trygve (Best to be careful while courting the Phoenix--its mating
- techniques can be a mite harrowing.)
