  38. I appreciate what you're saying...and just for the record I've 
  39. never discriminated on the basis of religion, as far as dating 
  40. goes. For the past 11 years of my life I've dated only gentiles 
  41. here in Iowa( I really don't have much of a choice <grin>) and 
  42. have met some very nice gentlemen. When I was 21 years old, I came 
  43. within 7 weeks of marring an Episcopalian (sp?), and realized
  44. that something just wasn't right. 
  45. At present, I have to be honest with all of you....there are 2 
  46. gentlemen that are awaiting my reply to "the question". One is 
  47. Jewish (I've known and kept in contact with for the past 3 years), 
  48. and the other is from a very strong Quaker background (who is, at 
  49. the moment trying to learn as much about judiasm as possilbe...he 
  50. is studing with an Orthodox Rabbi). So, you're asking yourselves, 
  51. why did she post this message, right?! Maybe I don't know what it 
  52. feels like to be in love with someone, but I do know that there 
  53. are no "fireworks" with either of them!
  54. I do hope you realize that I didn't mean anything by the comment, 
  55. "I'm surrounded by Christians!" Thought I'd add a little bit of 
  56. light humor in at the end....Guess I wouldn't make a very good 
  57. comedian (sp?), would I <grin>. I apologize to all those that took 
  58. it offensively!  Actually, some of my close friends are either 
  59. catholic or Christian!
