  35. had no interest in them?

  43. Any "filtering" process is bound to weed out some (potentially)
  44. compatible mates.  In this case, by not dating a non-Jewish man, she
  45. does not allow the possibility that one of them might join the Jewish
  46. religion (unless she wants someone who is Jewish from birth; that is a
  47. different problem).  She also is unwilling to live in NYC, LA, or
  48. Chicago (?), cities that would provide a large and diverse set of
  49. Jewish men.
