  27. I will skip past my usual posting method and point
  28. out that there is a lot of unintended irony in your
  29. kivetch about 'religion.' You might take the time to
  30. pause and check that you have not gored any of your
  31. own sacred cows.

  33. When it comes to Core Values, it is prudent NOT to
  34. go wandering a field in pursuit of 'romance.'
  35.  
  36. That someone else may have come to a position that they
  37. hold a set of core values very distinct from your own
  38. is no reason to go deriding them for advancing that
  39. they have those core values, and that they are looking
  40. for those core values in someone they wish to be most
  41. deeply and intimately involved with.

  43. I may chide my lady friend from time to time, in private
  44. and on the net, about her failure to understand some
  45. specific point from my "well just EVERYONE knows" list
  46. of details. But I would feel safe to say, that when we
  47. get down to real core values, rather than implementation
  48. specific details, we do NOT compromise. [1]

  51. understand YOUR OWN core values, as well as to be able
  52. to share them with someone special in your life.
