  12. It appears that not just one but two distinguished visitors from the
  13. midwest are going to be here on the east coast after the new year's
  14. holiday.  So I have foolishly :-) offered to host an impromptu
  15. get-together here in New Haven in honor of Kiran and Michael the
  16. weekend of January 9.  For activities, we might inspect the dodo at
  17. the Peabody museum and eat pizza at Sally's, and of course there will
  18. be an opportunity for everybody to meet my cats.  I have some crash
  19. space available for people from out of town, but I suspect the
  20. happenings are going to be pretty much confined to Saturday.
