- I didn't see the prices for the meal, but I helped pick the wine so I knew
- what that cost. Funny thing was though, that I'd stopped off in Chicago
- on my way from California and picked up two bottles of delicious German
- wine for about $75 and they were better than what the restaurant had. We
- had one bottle as a late night desert that evening (as my thankyou and treat).

- Yes, but I grew up in a large and poor family where $150 dollars fed several
- people for a month or so. Spending money on luxuries is a guilt thing for me.

- Well, JD and I were turning around the idea in our heads about a long-distance
- relationship (SF/NYC), and it didn't seem like it would work, so it seemed best
- to keep things at the friend level.
-
- I spent many more months being single and lonely. JD met a beautiful model
- named Katie a few months later and fell in love.
-
- So there goes my chance at marrying a wealthy doctor. <sigh> :)
-
- Just me,

- little 'e'

- (yes, the story is really true!)
