- Keith...do you REALLY think that "wannabee" "real friend"s are only
- MALE? I tutored 4 football players in math...they dated girls who
- couldn't handle the problems in the previous year's course. I
- listened to "I can't get a decent date" from many guys all through
- college...and when I suggested *I* was open, well...surprised look,
- "Ummm", and that's that.
-
- I finally decided that I like friends, be they male or female.
- Considering my major/job choices (computer science, microsoft)
- I'm 4 to 5 times likely to make a friend from a man as a woman
- most of the time (when most of the time is spent at school/work).
- But I don't assume I will get romatically involved with friends;
- I don't "make friends" as a way to "get dates"; and (most important)
- I realized that life happens whether you're romatically involved or
- not.
