  20. Yes, well... Despite the fact that the crowd (and the
  21. *decorations*!) at the Lone Star were *incredible* on New Bear's
  22. Eve [spelling intentional], I thought they were a wee bit
  23. chintzy.... I mean, every other bar I've ever heard of at least
  24. gives away a glass of cheap champagne at midnight, and the
  25. Gauntlet II here in LA has free drinks -- that's *anything*
  26. behind the bar, not just well liquor -- for 15 minutes after
  27. the New Year begins.

  30. dragged out of the place by an energetic furball visiting from
  31. N. Carolina right after the ball went up.....  ;-{)##]
