- Hey Motssters,
-
- Are there any other eggheads who watch 'This Week with David Brinkley?'
- If you did you saw something interesting. The topic of the show was
- baby boomers and generational politics. Anyway, one of the guests was
- the publisher of Rolling Stone Magazine. This guy came on and said that
- his generation was the first to start doing things about the environment,
- and civil rights for blacks, women and gays. Later in the interview, Sam
- Donaldson asked him 'Sir, you mentioned that your generation was sensitive
- to civil rights for gays, correct? Well, excuse me, but didn't you just
- spend your holiday vaction in Aspen Colorado, where a there's a boycott
- on the state because of measure 2 passage?' The guy did some rather
- unelegant back-pedaling and then used the excuse that he didn't know that
- the boycott was official yet. Oh PUHHHLEEEEAAAAAZE!
-
- Kudos to Sam Donaldson!
