  33. The Miami Herald reported an interesting statistic in yesterday's paper
  34. on children of LGB* people.  The American Bar Association (you know,
  35. that queer organization which *has* to skew statistics) estimates that
  36. there are between 6 and 14 million children of LGB parents in the nation
  37. today.  Most are from traditional opposite sex marriages (I almost said
  38. heterosexual), but the new trend is for LGB people to choose to have
  39. children.  With an army of 6-14 million loving children coming of age,
  40. how can one not be optimistic?
