  12. Separating the religous ceremony from the legal commitment would
  13. be a great way of dealing with marriage. The mind boggles slightly
  14. at how to deal with existing marriages.
  15. I'm still waiting for the first state with a terrible economy to
  16. realize the tourism bonanza in being the first state to legalize
  17. gay marriage. And once that first state does it, the other states
  18. would be obliged to recognize it.
