- Not in the South, nor the Appalachian mountain region.
-
- "City", whether capitalized or not, is where "THEY'RE" from. You know,
- anyone new you've never before encountered (be it a different ethnic
- group, religion, whatever), but who has insisted on moving to _your_
- town.
-
- Alternatively, "the city" is any megalopolis large enough to have and
- support more than 1 store from the following list (or more than 1 location
- of any one): Wal-Mart, Ben Franklin, Dollar General, Western Auto,
- K-Mart, Ace Hardware, Lowe's. This is, of course, as opposed to "here",
- which may have none or only one of the above -- which naturally means
- that you have to go to "the city" to purchase anything household-y.
-
- "The Big City" is any "city" where folks "dough-ent tawk lak uss", and
- probably requires a passport for entry.
