  12. According to a tv news report I've just seen on our local
  13. NBC outlet, Donna Shalala, outgoing Chancellor of the
  14. UW-Madison and soon to be Secretary of Health and Social
  15. Services in the Clinton administration, said today that
  16. reports she is a lesbian are "nonsense."  Apparently Queer
  17. Nation has been after her to come out since she was tagged
  18. for the HSS job by the president-elect.  Doesn't look like
  19. she's gonna.  Maybe she ain't, despite setting off my gaydar
  20. and those of a great many other people.
