- And I guess Ms. Duarte never went to an ACTUP meeting in New York.
- Last time I was there (okay, it was 1990) they seemed to be thinking a whole
- lot about Hispanic issues. Every fact sheet and every poster had to have
- both English and Spanish versions, or it wouldn't get done. There was at
- least one committee dealing solely with Hispanic issues. And ACTUP also
- sent a group down to Puerto Rico to do some protesting and help the people
- down there get going with their own direct action group.
