  32.     All well and good --- I fail to see why then, that so
  33. many Coloradoans and Colorado businesses are spending more time
  34. telling us why we shouldn't penalize them for CO:2 than they
  35. are screaming to the power that be to have it removed.  To be
  36. perfectly honest, I have not heard anything other than the 
  37. complaint issued by the city of Boulder that was co-signed
  38. by Martina Navratolova.  On the other hand, though, there doesn't
  39. seem to be any shortage of people pleading for economic clemency
  40. on behalf of <fill in supposed supportive community here>.

  42.     The fact is, that no matter what an individual town/county
  43. did on 11/3, the net effect was that more people voted for bigotry
  44. that voted against it.  Even in such supposedly enlightened
  45. places such as Aspen and Boulder there were certainly enough
  46. people who voted YES on 2, that I could spin in a circle, pissing,
  47. and hit more than one.  While standing in line in McDonalds, the
  48. odds are that either the person in front of me or in back of me
  49. voted to take away my rights.

  51.     People who are worried about how my not spending $$$ in
  52. CO will affect them should have done some more thinking prior
  53. to 11/3.

  55.     I would appreciate if people in CO would post about what
  56. efforts are going on in CO to repeal CO:2 (as opposed to the
  57. 4,516th reason why a boycott should be selective)...  I realize
  58. that Kevin put a LOT of effort into No on 2 - and that he does
  59. understand the boycott...  I'm just a little weary of every
  60. mention of CO:2 having some obilgatory statement trying to 
  61. instill guilt in irate out-of-staters...
