- Well, after all, since the male _is_ generic, even if
- individual women for some reason of their own don't
- feel included by it, man-hating is really Man-hating,
- i.e. contempt for all of humanity including oneself,
- and it is only necessary in the interest of the greater
- good that one compassionately lead those afflicted by
- such self-hatred into a better understanding, perhaps
- by letting them rest for weeks on end in rooms with
- pleasant yellow wallpaper.
