  11. What I want to know is, what do other people do with these tacky
  12. Poinsettias after the holidays are over?  My husband bought about
  13. a dozen of the damned things, and they never have the good manners to
  14. die promptly at 9 am on Jan. 2.  My problem is, I can't kill *any*
  15. houseplant without feeling extremely guilty, but I don't want the
  16. things around as they're highly poisonous to cats (hmmm...maybe
  17. I should give them to Jack Hamilton).  In the past I've just 
  18. planted them in the snow outside and figured if gawd wanted 'em 
  19. to live then she'd take care of them.

  21. It has since become apparent that gawd doesn't like Poinsettias
  22. any more than I do.
