- The story that was circulated when it happened was that Montague
- was fond of picking up rough trade; and one such murdered him in
- his house (with the unspoken implication that the motivation
- was either anger or larceny). It wouldn't surprise me if this
- were a sanitized version, and the version above were perhaps
- more accurate. I'll make inquiries.
