  20. Well, fortunately there are many who don't remain silent, but you are
  21. right that there are far too many that do. This sort of complicity, 
  22. which is easy to justify ("I didn't do anything to you"), is just
  23. what allowed the Nazis to do as they liked in Germany. I am not 
  24. a Christian, nor even conventionally religious, but I believe that
  25. human nature is such that we are our brothers' keepers, whether we
  26. want to be or not.
