  20. to reform from homosexuality, but mostly end up cruising each other.

  24. Katz's "Gay American History" (an all around great book) has a good
  25. personal account of a man's experience with electroshock therapy when
  26. his parents tried to "cure" him. It's quite frightening, almost put me
  27. off of psychologists all together. I know it's in the first edition, I
  28. haven't read the second but I'd be surprised if he removed it.
