  23. Read Arthur Fricke's delightful "Confessions of a Rock Lobster" (or maybe 
  24. "Memoirs of..." can't remember which) for a good flavor of growing up gay in 
  25. Rhode Island in the 70's.  Fricke made headlines when he sued his high 
  26. school (and won) for the right to bring a male date to his senior prom.
