  17. I can only reply to my own story, which is now going on 6 years. It is a lot
  18. of work, but that is not a negative thing. It takes a lot of understanding,
  19. and honesty.  We agreed from the beginning that there would be times when
  20. we would need free space, both emotionally and sexually. And honoring that
  21. has not always been easy. It seems we seldom are in the same place on those
  22. issues! However, it works and we're still together. We do have a couple of
  23. role models which have really helped us along the one. One couple has been
  24. together for over 12 years and the other couple is celebrating their 35th
  25. Christmas! That's amazing!
