- I'm afraid I'm missing your point, Elf. I agree it hardly
- makes sense to hold a person accountable for their genetic
- endowment, whether it's the hairiness, the race, or
- whatever.

- If you mean I'm suggesting we should hold people accountable
- for things they *can* change, since that's closely allied
- with a common canard about sexuality, I'm not suggesting
- that principle be applied to *all* things. Clearly we can
- hold people accountable for *some* of their choices, but
- probably not all. And in the great debate over whether
- sexuality involves choice, I'm in the "not on the
- existential level" camp.
