- Back when I first gained access to Usenet (around 1988) my best friend
- (straight, first person I came out to) e-mailed me a list of groups
- he thought I might be interested in. Amongst them was soc.motss (took
- me a few days to find out what `motss' meant.) I started posting
- about a month or so later and haven't turned back since. I've
- learned so much here about the diversity of our culture. Everyone
- should have Usenet access.
