  28. Well, as far as the FAQ is concerned, Chris Thomas has been
  29. very dedicated about creating, updating, and regularly
  30. sending it out (most recently 12/1).  I have saved that, and
  31. when I have enough time, I've thought I might look it over
  32. (it has been a long, long time since I actually read it).  I
  33. haven't asked, but I expect Chris would accept suggestions
  34. witha view to making changes if they seemed necessary to
  35. enough people.  Toward that end, perhaps others could get
  36. involved and look at this with an eye to promoting the
  37. interests recently expressed.

  39. Similarly, though I don't think I have any copies ready to
  40. hand of the charter-like first posting, something could be
  41. fashioned in the way of a charter from that, I think.  I
  42. just assume that interested people will form themselves into
  43. an ad hoc committee to carry out that work.

  45. As there is no cabal (ignore those pod-like things under
  46. your bed), nor even a ruling elite, I see no reason why
  47. anyone should be waiting for a go signal; whoever wants to
  48. do this stuff could start any time they want to.
