  29. Well, I've had this idea for a while... All I need is a couple of
  30. investors and about 40 - 50,000 and a gay rock bar *could* open up
  31. around here pretty quickly.... :)

  33. I think that the gay DJ's really only play what they want to hear,
  34. and what thier EMPLOYERS want to hear, and the drones who continually
  35. dance to it are too brainwashed to do much about it.  There's a couple
  36. of bars out here that play rock/progressive (ie stones, doors, rem,
  37. black crowes, etc...) from 5 ish till about 9 when the disco queens
  38. show up along with the disco dj.

  40. When I ran the Gay Metal Society here, we really didn't have too much
  41. trouble setting up metal nights at most of the bars.  They started
  42. giving us tuesday evenings and such, but by the end, we were geting
  43. Friday and Saturday night gigs.  Only the trendy places didn't think
  44. we could draw more than they normally could.  Hell, I even had some
  45. rock clubs agreeing to do gay metal nights.
