I'd vote for Foamy if ya gotta get it from a can.
I've found that the best way to get a good shave is by soaking the beard
area with a HOT wet towel for as long as you can stand. After that,
I can use whatever is available, even soap, and get a great shave.
But then, I just love wet heat.
