- Hey! At last, I'm a conservative again! The folks in t.p.m think
- I'm a flaming socialist. :-/
-

-
- Well (Peter. are you listening?) I'm not pro-abortion as I would
- much rather we develop fool-proof methods of birth control, but
- I am pro-choice since the alternative would have me sticking my
- nose (and legislation) where I really believe neither has any
- business.
-
- >But her choice is legal.
-
- Yes it is, but biology dictates that she is the one who carries
- the z/e/f. Now, how do we get around this problem in a manner
- that is fair to both men and women AND to any child that might
- be born? That's the nut, and frankly I don't have the answer.
- I can't get too upset about 'potential' children as some seem
- to do, but I sure don't take any comfort in seeing children
- living in poverty.
-
- >It is not surprising that when a man says he should have an

-
- And this is the part I don't have the answer to. If the woman opts
- to bear the child - even if she knew full well that the man had
- no desire to be a father and took all reasonable precautions,
- society can only 'see' two options - either he pays or they do -
- and it doesn't require genius to figure which choice society
- will make.
