  28. I had in mind institutions like Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.
  29. The Century Club.  Assorted sports clubs.  Business and
  30. professional organizations (like Rotary International)
  31. that had explicit charters restricting membership to men.

  33. I would be most interested to see a comparable list of powerful
  34. institutions on local, regional, national and international levels
  35. that forbid access to men.
