  13. I was wondering what were peoples experiences in broken engagements.
  14. A friend of mine (really!) was engaged for two years to this girl,
  15. they lived together for 9 months, then split up.  We had multiple 
  16. discussions on what was the BEST way to break up or even if they should
  17. have done so (I tried to avoid directly giving advice that might later
  18. blow up in my friendship with him).  Since this group discusses 
  19. relationships I hoped poeple might talk about how an engagement they were
  20. in (or knew of) ended and/or how a breakup would best be done....
