- What *is* this? I loan the CD of _Madra_ to Lisa, then I find veritable queues
- of people begging for copies, including my (nominally) strayt brother. Did they
- get rave reviews somewhere? Or have they just crossed the flashpoint which Tori
- did about a year back when _Little Earthquakes_ appeared?
-
- Sometimes I feel like an arbiter of taste, then I recall the Duran Duran albums
- still sitting in my vinyl heap, or the fact that it was the High Atheist (and
- equally as cute as Lisa) Gideon who introduced me to Diamanda Galas. Then I
- just feel meshed with the Zeitgeist.
-
- Excuse the Bananarama, Kay; we all have such fondly-recalled trash which is an
- integral part of our early development, though these days we would never begin
- to listen to it.
-
- As for the cello, I dated a cellist once (OK, several times. Each Michaelmas
- term, in fact. mmm.)

-
- Kay!! Heavens... I have _Little Earthquakes_, and a lot of CD singles. Now,
- either you can send me a tape, or you can wait till I next buy a 10-pack. You'll
- end up buying the stuff yourself, if you're at all like Sara, Gideon, Chris, etc

- She has red hair, indeterminately green/blue eyes, and likes playing live
- because all the faery get up on stage and dance along with her. Incredibly
- emotive but precise performances. She's been called a traumatised Kate Bush.
-
- And reason #3 for going to America is that I have her address |-)
