  22. What *is* this? I loan the CD of _Madra_ to Lisa, then I find veritable queues
  23. of people begging for copies, including my (nominally) strayt brother. Did they
  24. get rave reviews somewhere? Or have they just crossed the flashpoint which Tori
  25. did about a year back when _Little Earthquakes_ appeared?

  27. Sometimes I feel like an arbiter of taste, then I recall the Duran Duran albums
  28. still sitting in my vinyl heap, or the fact that it was the High Atheist (and
  29. equally as cute as Lisa) Gideon who introduced me to Diamanda Galas. Then I
  30. just feel meshed with the Zeitgeist.

  32. Excuse the Bananarama, Kay; we all have such fondly-recalled trash which is an
  33. integral part of our early development, though these days we would never begin
  34. to listen to it.

  43. Kay!! Heavens... I have _Little Earthquakes_, and a lot of CD singles. Now,
  44. either you can send me a tape, or you can wait till I next buy a 10-pack. You'll
  45. end up buying the stuff yourself, if you're at all like Sara, Gideon, Chris, etc

  47. She has red hair, indeterminately green/blue eyes, and likes playing live
  48. because all the faery get up on stage and dance along with her. Incredibly
  49. emotive but precise performances. She's been called a traumatised Kate Bush.
