  32. While being prepared to grant your point general validity, I think
  33. I *do* mean defensive; the tactics selected to protect their world
  34. view run from a near audible *clank* as the ears turn off through
  35. 'I have to listen to this *very* carefully so I will spot where
  36. it is _wrong_' through all sorts of bombast.

  38. If you want to communicate something, it helps to keep the discourse
  39. away from a kind of fight they other person understands.
