  26. children!  I do remember having a long and fruitless discussion with
  27. one woman who was convinced that men were uniformly useless at
  28. domestic organization; whenever I pointed out that my father or male
  29. friends of mine did most of the shopping or cleaning or ironing in
  30. their household, she just dismissed them as special cases, so I
  31. eventually gave up.  But since I'm completely domestically incapable
  32. myself, I'm probably not the best person to argue with...

  39. Quite possibly, yes.  I'd also attempt to explain that I'm not an
  40. apologist for all men, and I'm just as angry about the way some
  41. men treat women as she is.  There's nothing more frustrating than
  42. spending ages trying to educate your male friends out of their
  43. sexist attitudes, and then confronting some woman who's convinced
  44. beyond all persuasion that just because you're male you must
  45. be as sexist as the rest of them.
