- Actually, it's quite effective. Witness this current post of yours,
- for instance... it certainly gives several tasty (or unsavory, depending
- upon your proclivities) bits of insight into your personality. In
- general, of course, the better (or sometimes, the more impassioned) the
- writer, the more people will get out of the communication.

- Are you saying that because your post was difficult to write or post,
- people should be able to perceive who you are more adroitly than a
- similar post that was easy to write? Or are you implying that people
- should try harder when it's harder to write, or if you're new? Or
- something else?

- believes that? Why does it matter so much that the net has empathy,
- understanding, and compassion for you? I wonder, as a general question,
- why is it that we care so much about the opinions and thoughts of
- strangers (I can understand the opinions o' friends/loves part)?

- I'd question where the blame should fall, if anywhere, here... if you
- don't have the communication skills to convey your thoughts and
- personality, and then tell people to go to hell for not understanding
- you, perhaps you're getting what you merit, regardless of your desires
- to the contrary. After all, many people do get their points and
- personalities across, and many of us have started, had (and finished,
- unfortunately) deep, meaningful relationships via this electromagnetic
- muse.
