- I find it highly unlikely that in these tighter economic times that
- anyone who is trying to form any kind of a business would be so
- ignorant as to exclude anyone, regardless of gender, who might make
- any kind of contribution.
- My point being this... yes there is possibly exclusion in some
- places at the startup level, but they are probably not worth dealing
- with.
- From having taken several attempts at starting companies I can tell
- you for a fact, that I would not turn away a woman who knew anything
- about the technology or business issues relating to the company's
- goals, and who had enough drive and energy to pull it along with me.
- I find that there are just too few people, especially those with the
- technical backgrounds I've needed, who are willing to put in the
- effort necessary to make an effort work. To limit one's scope of
- associates based on gender, race, or creed is not only stupid, it's
- economic suicide.
