  50. I'm clearly not taking my own suggestions to heart.  Appearance
  51. IS important (hence my suggestion to MARKET the gender-neutral
  52. language, to package it into an appealing style of communicating).

  74. strategy of straightening out the English language will EVER
  75. succeed.  Besides, AGAIN you misrepresented my position - I was
  76. using "hip" as a suggestion - it really doesn't MATTER how 
  77. gender-neutral language is made pallatable.  I could care less
  78. about the means, but care a great deal about the goal.  You
  79. may choose to read every third word in this, too - that is
  80. your right - but it is the truth.

  91. Tim, you choose to keep the flame on, instead of offering YOUR
  92. ideas for how gender-neutral language can get more widely adopted,
  93. the shape/lexicon of such a new language, or even whether or not
  94. this is a worthwhile goal.
