- During last SMAU fair in Milan, Italy (oct 92), an italian VR company,
- ARS, has projected a whole Sense8 navigation on the screen of the
- conference hall. At least 200-300 people were in the hall. They
- didn't use lc shutters, but polarized lens. The effect was quite good,
- expecially if you were in front of the screen. The screen itself was
- VERY big, several meters.
-
- The CAVE system, presented during last SIGGRAPH, uses lc shutter glasses (I
- think CrystalEyes) and retro-projected walls to immerse the user in a
- virtual environment.
