- AVIAN GRAPHICS is a start-up company founded by highly skilled

- Sharon Poi Goza, President: Mrs. Goza is Manager of NASA Johnson

- Space Center's Integrated Graphics, Operations, and Analysis

- Laboratory (I-GOAL) in charge of research and development of

- computer graphics software used in model building, animation and

- simulation. In that capacity she manages a facility consisting of
-
- 20 Silicon Graphics workstations and 9 contractor employees. The
-
- facility generates 3D computer animations of Shuttle Mission
-
- scenarios and conceptual designs. Prior to this Mrs. Goza was
-
- responsible for bringing two new 3D computer graphics systems on
-
- line and developing the preliminary simulations. Her publications
-
- include various 3D computer animations of shuttle missions and
-
- conceptual designs including: IRIS/LAGEOS mission operations video
-
- and STS-49 Assembly of Station by EVA Methods. Mrs. Goza holds an

- MS in Computer Science from Rice University and a BS in Computer

- Science from Purdue University. She is also a member of Phi Beta

- S. Michael Goza, Vice President: Mr. Goza also serves at NASA

- Johnson Space Center's I-GOAL lab. He is the developer and manager

- of JSC's Virtual Reality software systems, associated hardware

- peripherals, generic rendering library for 3D models, and numerous

- 3D graphical model format translators. Mr. Goza is the manager of

- JSC's VR/Telepresence lab and Dexterous Robotics Lab. He is a

- major participant in the visual analysis sub team investigation of

- STS 51-L (Challenger) responsible for analysis of photographic data

- using computer imagery. Prior to this Mr. Goza served as an

- engineer and draftsman. His publications include numerous 3D

- computer animation videos and films (depicting shuttle EVA missions

- and conceptual designs), Mr. Goza has been published in Design

- Graphics World, the VR technology special in the Houston Chronicle,

- Fred E. Grissom, Jr.: Mr. Grissom recently spent four years with

- Lockheed Engineering & Sciences Company as the Applications

- Engineering Program Manager in support of NASA Johnson Space

- Center's Technology Utilization Office. While there he was

- responsible for initiating a VR collaboration with the University

- of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to this he served in

- a similar capacity with Simtran Corporation over-seeing the

- development of a full scale training simulator for the petroleum

- industry. Mr. Grissom is also the co-author of two books for
