- You heard wrong. Uranium prices are so depressed that mines are
- closing. Spot market price is around $10/pound; the U-235 in one
- pound of uranium can produce about 20,000 kWh of electricity. It
- could increase in price by a factor of 20 or more and still not
- dominate costs.
