  13. That's a neat thing you mentioned about the possibility
  14. of a word being borrowed backwards. I know of no  example
  15. of such either, but a borrowing from French to Hebrew is
  16. a more probable place for such a thing to happen
  17. given the writing directions. Intriguing question.
  18. Incidentally, do you by any chance know the
  19. derivation of the word "Yankee"? Just a non
  20. sequitur. :) Have fun!
