  26. Last July, Howard Odum, the evironmental systems modeler, talked about modeling
  27. the O2 systems in Biosphere II.  He included all of the sources and sinks, in-
  28. cluding the soil and rock minerals that would take up O2.  He found that
  29. the O2 levels would drop to the present level.  I surmised from what he said,
  30. that he didn't expect them to go lower, but models are fallable.
