  27. This is really a central point in most religions and other "wild" theories
  28. espoused about things that we cannot (any longer) detect.  If we can check
  29. SOME of the stuff, and it is not as claimed, why should we believe the claims
  30. made that we CANNOT check?  This is one of the central problems between
  31. biblical literalists and science - it just isn't the way stated.  And if
  32. the "facts" stated we KNOW are wrong, that cases doubt upon the rest.
