- What scares me about Ritalin is what is not known about it, take a look
- at the latest PDR, and other pharm. refs, they don't have a clue how it
- works. The only data I have been able to get so far is from the
- manufacturer, and we can all trust that can't we, But who knows, I just
- took the first step to see if I'm ADD (37 years old), ditto on the
- concentration and depression. On a Q/A test I hit over 80% where with only
- 40% you can be considered ADD.
-
- Almost all work with ADD and ADHD have been done on/with kids before
- puberty, it is considered by many to diminish or stop at that age. But
- new evidence is showing up that some kids that were ADD before puberty
- are still ADD. One problem is there is still to much voo-doo involved.
- And I'm one who feels most kids diagnosed as having ADD are not, and
- I thing this will spill over as ADD-RT is diag'ed.
