  12.    I am currently doing research on wavelets (theory and applications),
  13. and have come accross comparisons of wavelets to coherent states in
  14. quantum mechanics.  Although I have has a basic course in Q.M., can anyone
  15. explain to me what coherent states are?  Do they have anything to do with 
  16. phase-space localization?
  17.   Also, can anyone refer be to any texts which have a great deal of 
  18. emphasis on Schrodinger's wave equation (from the basics on)?  I see some
  19. reltionships between wave packets and wavelets, but I would like to learn
  20. more.
