  33.         Recently, IBM liquidated a large quantity of new HeNe 
  34. lasers in the 10mw range (used in some kind of large industrial 
  35. laser printer is what they said).  This was a hard seal 10mw tube 
  36. and power supply- operated on 110vac but came with a non-standard 
  37. connector which needed changed to a standard 3 pin plug.  These 
  38. were direct in any quantity for $10 each, but you had to strip 
  39. them from the mounting hardware backplate.

  41.         That figures out to 1 buck per milliwatt!  I bought MANY 
  42. but am hording them- not for sale!  They were new, and lots of 
  43. people bought them- Meredith bought 700 units, so did another 
  44. company which I don't remember the name of.  Look for them to 
  45. appear in the Meredith catalog- they should make them a HEFTY 
  46. profit!  I also bought a bunch of NEW monochrome amber monitors at 
  47. 5 bucks each- it was a great time.............sq
