  30. Well I believe that Nobel did *not* establish Economics as one of the fields in
  31. which the prize is given out; this was done many years later by the Swedish 
  32. Academy (or something like that...).   So don't be insulted.

  34. Reminds me of a recent anecdote:
  35. A is back at his alma mater (in the version I heard, it was Stanford) for his
  36. 20th anniversery after his PhD.   Professor B has put on display questions from
  37. the most recent PhD qualifying exam.   A opines to Professor B:  "Hey those are 
  38. the same questions on my qualifying exam over 20 years ago!"  Professor B
  39. counters with "Aha but we've changed the answers!".
