  12.  My questions seem to have drowned in Sarfatti noise. Scott, you had
  13.         said a good quantum no. for a system is that whose operator
  14.         commutes with the Hamiltonian for that system. But you left open the
  15.         question whether the position operator can ever commute with a
  16.         Hamiltonian and if it does, how one can interpret the delta function
  17.         eigenstate of the position operator. This was in context of Liboff's
  18.         statement that the measurement of a varible leaves the system in an
  19.         eigenstate of that system. My other question about transition
  20.         lifetime from the first excited state in a 1-D infinite well has
  21. also
  22.         gone unanswered. I do wish Sarfatti would rather answer such
  23. questions
  24.         than adding all that noise.
