- I was in a photagraphic darkroom the other day trying
- to transfer some 35mm film onto another canister (someone had
- wound it back into its holder!) During this process I had to
- tape the start of the film onto the spindle. When I peeled off
- some tape, it glowed at the point that was peeling from the roll!
- I was surprised at this (also a bit worried that I was affecting
- the film I had at the time) and found the same thing on a completely
- different type of tape.
- So whay does this happen? Is it some sort of static thing
- or what? All possible explainations appreciated!
