- I suppose you mean the top US ace in the ETO -- the top allied ace was
- Wing Commander J.E. "Johnnie" Johnson RAF with 38 confirmed victories
- all in Europe. As an interesting note, the MoD (RAF) will never say that
- (even nowadays); there are no "aces" for the RAF, this being played down
- in favour of teamwork.
