- I remember concrete armoring to be there also from reading Japanese accounts.
- I can't remember what the exact sources were though. I also recall that the
- Shinano was supposed to have Rocket AA battery (12? mounts of multiple
- rocket launchers). I always wondered about that. Could it have been at all
- effective? Does anyone know how that was supposed to work? (i.e. guided,
- unguided, proximity-fuse, shot-gun effect or what?)
